Dear future wife,
I’ve got to warn you, I’m going to be madly in love with you. So don’t be alarmed. I’m going to sing at our wedding, dance with you in our kitchen to Al Green and candlelight, and it will be the most amazing thing ever. I know.. I’m very affectionate and I do have a tendency to smother, but do tell me when it becomes too much. I love affection, but I do understand the need to have alone time, being the introvert I am. So I’ll do my best to not be offended when you need your space also.
My dear wife. I can feel the greatness you will posses, and I’m so excited to compliment it and for it to actually take me higher. You need to know that I will be the most supportive person you’ll know, and you don’t ever have to worry about being alone when you’re conjuring up a new way to improve the world. My being in your corner puts me in the perfect position to be your ride or die accomplice, but at the same time be that devil’s advocate when I sense that you’re having trouble seeing that you can take that extra step to be greater. Even, well, especially in your times of need, I promise to be there as best I can, and as best I know. But don’t be afraid to teach me what I need to know about you. I want our love to grow and we both know growth never comes without learning.
I pray that you’re willing to do and be the same for me, and reciprocate that love.
But, we’ll talk more soon, I hope.
I’ll love you,
