Introvert Power by Laurie Helgoe, PhD.
This is probably the most powerful and fog-clearing book I’ve read in a very long time. Introvert Power aims to help people reclaim their introverted selves in a(n American) society that celebrates and rewards extroverts, but essentially marginalizes introverts and treats us like mental health patients. If you’ve ever had to fight with a group of friends over why you’d rather stay home and relax alone instead of partying, you should pick this book up immediately. I guarantee you’ll find a home in it.
